The last place I expected to meet somebody was on the internet, but that’s exactly what happened in
September 2001.
John and I had spent the summer of 2003 travelling between Clonmel and Kildare at weekends to see each
other, and on a few occasions when we had gone into town together, I had hinted subtly at John that we
should tie the knot. I did this by dragging him up to jewellery shop windows and pointing out various
diamond rings on display. (Ok, subtlety was never my strongest point. I even had to look the spelling of the
word up in a dictionary.)
Well, I’ve been as busy as the proverbial bee over the last few months organising things and I’ve tried to
get all the biggies out of the way. So, to bring you up to date, here’s what we’ve done:
