A small bit disappointed with Cakes and Co. I wanted
sugar tulips on the cake but was told they would not be
able to do them for me as they were doing a refurb on the
shop at the time of my wedding and would not have time to
do them. They were helpful enough though I suppose to
suggest I use fresh tulips instead and suggest a florist that
would do them. I didn't go for this as I would have to put
them on myself.
Also they rang me the week before the wedding saying they
were out of the pink ribbon I wanted and couldn't get any
more. She said she had tried to get it from another supplier
but that hadn't worked out. I had to settle for ivory instead
but the impact of contrast between the ivory icing and the
pink ribbon was lost. Slightly disappointing as I thought
they would have no problem creating exactly what I wanted.
It did taste nice though. Young girl at their reception desk in
the shop when we went in was so pleasant.

I must have changed my mind 4 or 5 times about what kind
of cake I wanted but never once was I made to feel bad
about this....the staff were so freindly and helpful and the
cake was amazing and SO tasty! Everyone commented on
it and said it was the best they had ever tasted!!
